Privacy

We collect nothing.
We couldn't if we tried.

SFD makes no network connections. No analytics, no accounts, no tracking, no third-party code. Everything you write stays on your device as plain text. We have no servers and receive nothing from you.

Your words

Every chunk you write is stored on your device as plain text. It never leaves unless you send it — and when you tap "send it," the export goes through Apple's share sheet to wherever you point it. We are not in that path and never see the file.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising, no user accounts, and no third-party code that phones home. Its App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" because there is nothing to collect it with.

What Apple shows us

If you've opted in to sharing analytics with developers, Apple shows us aggregate App Store numbers — downloads, crashes. That arrives anonymized and bundled together; we couldn't identify you from it if we tried. That sharing is between you and Apple, controlled in your device's Settings.

If this ever changes

This page changes first, the app's privacy label changes with it, and the change ships in release notes. No quiet edits.
